On Tuesday afternoon BT activated the phone line at hte new house, but they did it remotely which resulted in Andy wasting half a day waiting for an engineer, and also meant that since engineer didn't actually visit, that they didn't/weren't able to activate 2 of the 3 phone points in the house - so the bt saga continues. Given they could do it remotely without sending an engineer - we are stumped as to why we had to wait several weeks for the activation....we don't quite understand how they couldn't have remotely activated it sooner...
But the good thing at least is that since at least one line has been activated now the house alarm police alert system can be switched on...
