Andy and I took a quick trip to Braehead today when we found out that Stavros Flatley would be performing there

Andy was in London on the Big Snow day

Andy went to London on Sunday night for a 3 day course Mon-Wed in Holborn but only found out teh trainer cancelled the first day when he was just outside the office. He had madeit all teh way from Scotland to London, but the trainer couldn't make it from Wimbledon to London... So what else do you do when the snow stops all teh buses in London - youi take a walking tour of Covent Garden. See photo...

The best strawberry tart in all of London can be found at the Waldorf Hotel, afternoon tea.

Best strawberry tart I ever ate

When we were at Afternoon tea at "the Waldorf hotel" in London this weekend, I had the most beautiful strawberry tart i think I have ever had the good fortune to eat. It was packed with flavour and sweetness. So i had to take a photo to share what it looked like.

Theatre Royal almost ready to stage Oliver

The BBC had a show to find the best Nancy and Oliver, well at the weekend i walked passed the London theatre where the show will be staged. It is due to open in London West End soon.

We headed to the Waldorf on the Saturday afternoon for afternoon tea

After arriving and meeting Andy at theatre where he had queued for Hairspray day tickets we took a walk round Covent Garden.

X factor winner Leon Jackson switched on paisley christmas lights followed by fireworks. His performance was later than originally billed, he performed 3 songs then switched on the lights with the provost. The sound quality wasn't great - it was hard to make out his lyrics sometimes, but he drew quite a crowd.

Sandi thom performed "Caledonia", which is the homecoming scotland 2009 anthem, at Paisley Christmas Lights switch on. I really like her version of the song. I took a quick mobile video to get a sample of it and when i have worked out how to post my mobile video online will add link to it here.

I bumped into 4 Kissmas trees over the weekend...why were they wearing shades - don't have a clue... they were being followed by a comedy lumberjack too....

YouTube will begin offering feature films produced by at least one of the biggest Hollywood movie studios possibly as early as next month, according to an executive with a major entertainment company.

Eagle Eye review

Andy and I went to the movies in Glasgow after work last night to see "Eagle Eye". It was quite an exciting and fast moving storyline if a little predictable in places. It held our attention all the way through and the car chases were really good.

We hadn't been to the movies in a few weeks because we had been spending most of our time getting the new house sorted, so it was good to get back to the movies and to eat hot dogs -I know how indulgent.

I would rate the acting, plot, film as 7.5-8 out of 10 so if your wondering if it is worth going to see, then i would happily recommend it.

Handy Andy?

We had only just got the new fridge freezer in the new house in Renfrew (5mins) and handy Andy got the toolkit out to reverse the door hang. Boys and their toys!
